Previously known as Dixie Chicks, The Chicks have been in the music scene since 1989 and were one of the biggest names in country music in the late '90s early 2000's! The group was founded in Texas by Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire and Emily Strayer. Although along the way the group went through some member changes, they are still one of the biggest names in the country genre. Upon signing with Monument Records Nashville in 1997 and replacing Lynch with Maines, the Chicks achieved success with their albums Wide Open Spaces (1998) and Fly (1999). After several successful albums and tours, today The Chicks are owners of 13 Grammy Awards!
In support of their album "Gaslight", the trio is getting ready to hit the road again! The tour kicks off at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston! From there, the country singers will be travelling to Noblesville, Cincinnati, Oklahoma City and many other cities to meet with their loyal fans once again!
