Excellent. Nothing to complain indeed. It was quite expensive but after staying you will know it is worth it.

We had an amazing stay here and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hosts were absolutely wonderful extremely welcoming, friendly, and genuinely caring. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home and provided an incredible level of hospitality. The accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable, and very pleasant to stay in. Everything was well maintained and we felt relaxed throughout our visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Edinburgh. If I ever return to the city, this would definitely be my number one choice for accommodation.

A great inn in Edingbrugh. We stay for 3 nights with two rooms. The breakfast is wonderful and the bad is very comfortable. The room is equipped everything we need during our stay. Though no lift to the 2nd floor and 3rd, we still enjoy this small old building. However the street noise can be heard clearly that might put you sleepless whole night, especially over weekend. We could leave lugguages for half day after check out and help make our walking tour on Royal mile easier. Thank you all of staffs there and we entire family really has fun in Scottland.

This is a treat for our anniversary and this place is unique in its own way. We arrived prior to check in time and left our luggage at the reception and enjoyed our glass of champagne. We were given tickets to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia which we enjoyed very much. As the Fingal is part of the business of the Britannia, Fingal gives a feeling of Royalty in an modernised Britannia. The breakfast was a surprise in its top quality and variety of choices and the service is excellent! We shall return.

Superb. A real wow. We loved that you could see Arthur's seat, the parliment and the palace. The apartment was spotless. And we didn't expect housekeeping everyday, that was a lovely surprise.

Way too much money

The room itself was fine and spacious. The towel warmer didn’t work in the bathroom. Overall the property is very old but the rooms have been updated so that’s a plus. The breakfast in the morning is more than lacking: coffee machine doesn’t work, everything is stale and old, and it’s first come first served and they don’t refill anything. Also, it’s a long walk away from old town.
