Lisboa Region Beach Vacations

This has been one of the most pleasant stays. I have had in Cascais. The property was beautiful and our room was immaculate. The spa was a pleasant tree as was the bar and staff.

The hotel is ideally located. It has a splendid sea view. Easily walkable to the town and the Inferno. The rooms are wonderful and quiet. The service is highly attentive. The breakfast was excellent too (just lacking citrus). Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Pros: nice location with nice beaches around Cons: not a 5* property but more 3-4*. Old property that makes you feel like you are in the 80’s. Staff were nice overall while doing the basics but service felt more like in a Bed & Breakfast with some sort unionised staff feeling rather than in a 5* hotel with proper attention, service and guest experience. Room smelt humidity the whole time even with the window opened (3 days) and bathroom was really horrible and old and not cleaned thoroughly prior our check in (there was someone else’s hair in the shower). No gym, no pool, no spa. I wonder how hotels get 5* and Relais & Chateaux rating nowadays. Would not recommend overall.
