Great stay - highly recommended Staff was excellent too..

Emaculate historic inn within a couple blocks of many ships and restaurants. The owners very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant is most likely the best in town. A must stay when visiting Black Mountain.

I stayed for a week and my room was not always cleaned well. Shower curtain had mold and I asked for a replacement. A replacement was left for me to do on my own. Cleaning staff never picked up the moldy curtain for over 6 days of the stay. One day my room wasn’t cleaned at all. The billing system try to charge me for parking I never used (I took a flight into town). My sheets were never changed and were a little fragrant by the last day despite showering (it was hot annd muggy). Otherwise, staff was very friendly.

The gentleman at the front desk who helped me out, (C Note) you know who you are, was fantastic! All the young men who worked the front bell stand are absolutely fantastic as well! Everybody there was just absolutely fantastic and phenomenal!

This is an amazingly beautiful hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Everything you need is here. There’s free coffee, tea, bottled water, sodas, snacks, etc. down stairs, and coffee in your room. My room was beautifully decorated. I had a free bottle of wine waiting for me, comfy robes and towels in the closet, a new package of coffee in the kitchen, and coasters exactly where I needed them. The flow from the shower head was a good flow. If I come back to Asheville, I will book again . Why mess with perfection? This hotel is perfect!
