This property was definitely a 5 star!! The staff were all professional in every way and their breakfast was exceptional. Even their live entertainment was spectacular. . You won’t be disappointed.

This is an amazingly beautiful hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Everything you need is here. There’s free coffee, tea, bottled water, sodas, snacks, etc. down stairs, and coffee in your room. My room was beautifully decorated. I had a free bottle of wine waiting for me, comfy robes and towels in the closet, a new package of coffee in the kitchen, and coasters exactly where I needed them. The flow from the shower head was a good flow. If I come back to Asheville, I will book again . Why mess with perfection? This hotel is perfect!

There was constant flooding in the hall between our wing to the main hall due to rolling thunderstorms. The gorge hike is disappointing - it’s only 0.68 miles because a stair bridge is broken so the guide stalls with nature talks because if you were to actually hike it, it would take less than 20 minutes to reach the broken stair bridge. The experiences such as axe throwing and zip line are over priced / not worth it. The archery was fun as they have animal targets. Bingo is fun and you can win prizes. The pool is nice but rolling thunderstorms limit your access in the afternoon (we went in August). We had connecting rooms and they were decent.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for in Asheville. The Blind Tiger is a property where you can feel as removed or involved with the other guests and staff as you desire. We had an awesome little cottage to ourselves, would visit the main house for breakfast and to chat with the staff, but overall felt pleasantly unbothered in our accommodation and were able top easily come and go and walk downtown as we pleased. This is a definite recommended stay!

Awesome place to visit and great staff.

It's our third time staying, & the staff remains exemplary. They are the standout and the reason that we will always stay at the o henry. It was wonderful seeing Sherone again. Hannah, Lakiya,& other front desk goddesses are delightful. The tea & jazz staff are fantastic. Kate & Courtney improved our mornings dramatically, & Ashleigh was lovely for our dinner. Tyler and the other porters are fantastic at their jobs, though it hurt my heart to see them dressed like it was 50 degrees out amidst the brutal heat & humidity. It would be lovely if they could lose the sweater vest and long sleeves and have more suitable summer attire. The only downside was I had to use my cell as a Hotspot to access wifi for my tablet, my dad's laptop, and our Amazon fire.

The room was clean and comfortable, however very basic. No frills. We did enjoy the extra space. The floor above was squeaky so when other guests were awake, it was difficult to sleep. I would recommend the Oakhurst Inn's convenience to the University of VA. With accommodations so tight in Charlottesville, the Oakhurst provides a better stay for the price than many of the other hotels.

Good location right in the middle of town. The only issue was the parking. You have to park on the street and only in certain areas so you don’t get towed. Property was clean and quiet.
