Northside Waterpark Vacation Packages

This hotel was wonderful!! The staff was so helpful with all the questions I had, and so friendly! They saved us money on parking, directions for the venue we were headed to during our stay, and places to eat. We would love to spend more time in Richmond and would definitely stay at this hotel again. Cannot say enough!!!! Very positive!! Thank you!!

We arrived at 10.15 pm due to car problems. Tried to call them to advise of our lateness but all numbers went through to a call centre who did not answer. Everything was closed so there was no food or drink available and the receptionist was unhelpful. There wasn't even bottled water in our room. Vending machines were shown on the map provided but only ice machines were available. Very little information provided about the amenities. Our windows were filthy and there was mould around the basin tap. Squeaky floorboards. Beautiful grounds and views of the river. Overall, very disappointing - a hotel that promises a lot but does not deliver.

The staff seemed annoyed and irritated at check in. While I was waiting another guest walked in and told the associates she was assigned to a room that was already in use. The associate answered that the computer told her it was free. She offered no apology and expressed no sense of urgency to get the guest another room. The associate carried on with her current guest and after even took a phone call that was on hold before helping the guest. My room was not assigned when I arrived which was visibly annoying to the associate. They slammed the keys, huffing and puffing while shaking their head. The associate getting our parking permit did not speak to me and barely looked up at me the entire time she was preparing it which was awkward and uncomfortable. Overall the experience left me feeling like a nuisance, not a valued customer. Their was NO parking infront of our unit so we had to park in an overflow lot and walk in the dark with no sidewalk. It would be nice to have one spot per unit guaranteed. Thank goodness we only stayed one night I would never stay here again!!

This is the first time that we’ve gone to a resort that housekeeping does not come into the room to clean. We have to take the garbage out outside the door as well as dirty towels. Good thing though that they replace the towels daily. We had a very nice room and impressed initially about the way it looked clean. However, the floors were not as clean as we had wanted because our kids socks got dirty walking on the floor the first day so I ended up cleaning the floor myself every other day. We did enjoy the big heated pool that was kept clean even the surrounding area. The staff were also friendly.

Very quiet and peaceful. Delicious breakfast with hot and cold items, fresh fruit, coffee, juice and a barista for made to order drinks. Be sure to check about restaurant hours. They were closed on the days we were there so we went to a couple of local nearby. Wine tasting was a fun feature and the grounds are beautiful. Check in, check out, and parking was very easy even with a wedding party on site. We would definitely stay again.
