Our second time at the Berkeley, and we’ll definitely back. My only complaint is that, like last time, my friend arrived a little bit before I did. Last time, the front desk person allowed her to go ahead and check in to the room. But this time, a different front desk person wouldn’t allow it unless she paid for the room herself, so she had to sit in the lobby for almost an hour until I got there. I understand that there are rules and policies in place for a reason, but I also know that exceptions can be made. Unfortunately, the front desk person was completely unwilling to work with us, which was disappointing. As I said, we’ll be back. But a little bit of flexibility in that situation would have been nice.

Room was nice and big but staff seemed to be lost and the amenities were not good at all. I went to work out at the gym but there was already someone in there and it didn’t fit 2 people. Couldn’t work out. Also the room doora are misaligned and slam shut really loud

Good hotel. There's a fair bit of wear and tear in the hotel, such as paint pealing in places and marks on all the doors to rooms that are all in the same place on the door (certainly on the 14th floor). The breakfast team seemed understaffed so orders took too long and they ran out of biscuits when biscuits and gravy were on the menu (and we ordered that). I didn't think that was possible in the south to run out of biscuits.
