Visit the Pilanesberg National Park. South Africa’s fourth largest game park, which is situated in a crater in the Bojanala Region of the North West Province. This extinct volcano has evolved to become one of the most fascinating landscapes to visit. Currently the majority of South Africa’s wildlife is found in the Pilanesberg game reserve.

Stay in either the Manyane Resort which is nestled at the gateway to the Pilanesberg National Park, in natural surroundings. With thatched African styled chalets are 3 star standard, with one or two bedrooms including a lounge, and in certain Chalets an upstairs loft bedroom. The chalets as well as the campsite and caravan park are ideal for groups of travelers or families. Those looking for a bit more privacy will enjoy the studio rooms or the safari tents. The chalets are grouped around a pool, playground and offer a private patio and braai area to relax.
Day 1:
Departure to Pilanesberg, pickup in Johannesburg. Enter the park for morning game drive in closed, air-conditioned vehicle. Midday- Lunch (own account) followed by check in at Camp. Afternoon closed 4x4 vehicle safari drive. Dinner, prepared by your guide at Bakgatla or Manyane Camp.
Day 2:
Wake up early for hot beverages and then depart for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Return for a hearty breakfast; pack up and be ready for collection between 11:00 – 11:30am for a closed vehicle (Minivan) game drive in the reserve . Depart mid-afternoon between 15:00 – 15:15 for the return journey to Johannesburg.
