"Great hotel. Perfect location - walkable to everything. facilities were basic but clean and comfortable, air conditioning was excellent and it was a hot night for this time of year. Parking was secure so you didn’t have to worry about your vehicle on the street (gated parking lot). Biggest differentiator was the truly amazing hosts. "The reviews are correct..there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the hotel. Once you are up there, it is quite nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room had a huge balcony but the thinnest bathroom. Hard to sit down if you know what I mean. Breakfast was fine. Easy walk from the train station. The neneighborhood does not look great but only a few blocks to the town center....beautiful. Catania is a lovely city and Bmode is a good place to stay to explore."
