"The minute I walked in I spotted the huge yellow cat meandering the floor. I panicked, I am deathly (epi shot) allergic to cats. Then we were led up the narrow stair case to our room and I nearly cried. Many weeks and seven hotels throughout Europe and this one was UGLY. Think motel 6 1970’s at 40x the cost. But. "DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst hotel experience of my life. Upon check in at the Kebab Shop (don't ask), we were taken to a neighbouring building, a building being used to house carwash workers. We were then taken through the workers living room, through scary corridors, into a dump of a room. Toilets/showers were disgusting, with used razors being left around, along with other gross toiletries. We knew this was one of the cheaper places to stay but I can't believe how bad it really was. "Everywhere was clean, no problems there. It was a minimalist room with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There was an area as part of the hotel to get food and drink at the appropriate times which was simple. Unfortunately due for time we were unable to partake on the breakfast (which was available for a reasonable price added, especially being in Amsterdam which can be quite pricey) but it sounded lovely. "STAY AWAY!!! The place is a dump. There was actual poo on the floor in the restroom off the lobby. When we told them we couldn't stay because if was such a dump, they refused to refund ANY of our money even though we never stayed there. "

"From the time that I arrived to the time that I left, they really treated me as best they could, also managed to find a room on the first floor due to my health condition. Alway was extremely professional and friendly. A modest place but clean and well located. Comfortable bed, breakfast was fresh every day. I can definitely recommend it including family.
