"Silvia and Ferdinando were excellent hosts. Silvia oriented us to the area and checked on tours. The property is a large garden with pool and outdoor kitchen for guests. The town is small and low key. You can walk to either beach entry. We ordered dinner at our host's Italian restaurant. Ferdinando cooked: it was wonderful. Three great courses. We were off season for whales so will try to come back to Dolce Uvita"

"the front desk guy was amazing and extremely helpful. Dominical itself is the cutest little surfing town and the center of everything was super close. Fuego next door was fun and delicious. "We stayed here for 4 nights during Envision festival. Hotel is under new management now and I felt like cleaning service was lacking. Our mattress kept sinking in. Our room was not cleaned every day. We ran out of shower gel and toilet paper. Rooms did not have any luggage rack or hangers or closet. "This hotel is a wooden cabin which has more of a hostel feel. It is far from Uvita’s centre and it’s hard to get a taxi or food delivery to the hotel. You need to go through a dirt road to get here. The breakfast was scarce and the rice reheated from the day before (I hope). The room felt humid even though the aircon was on. No wifi reached the bedroom. Expensive for the accommodations. Having said that, the grounds and beautiful and staff was kind. "

"Arrived and they didn't have a record that Orbitz had followed through to make the reservation. I had a confirmation number from Orbitz. They were sold out. I had to rebook at another hotel. Olyvia was the manager and was very nice and great to work with. Sadly still there weren't any rooms. She worked with Orbitz and I did get a refund. Still had to rebook to a different hotel at a different price, etc. "
