"If you are a backpacker this might be okay for you, but was bad for us. The rooms are extremely hot with no AC and a small fan that does nothing. Leon is the hottest city in the country, and also breakfast was not included in room price. Cannot recommend, although staff seemed friendly and location was good."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sleeping Dog. The room was a good size and all the beds were new and comfortable. The kitchen was large and clean and perfect for self catering and there was a nice area to eat or chill. Great place to stay!
"My friend and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked great. It has a cute courtyard with a small pool, hammock, and plants. We felt safe there as there is a large door that is locked to the entrance to the street. The staff helped us get taxis and a shuttle from the airport. Walkable distance to the restaurants. There are bikes on property that makes it even easier to get around. "
