Check in was quick. Check out was quick. Hotel (condo) was nicely appointed. Everything worked. Private balcony. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Toaster, microwave, refrigerator, oven, washer/dryer. The bathrooms had blow dryers, extra towels (rare in a rental), extra toilet tissue (even rarer) and was overall just a very nice place to stay.

High Pointe was a very well kept, high end resort directly on the pristine beaches of FL's panhandle. The pool / hot tub area was beautiful and our condo was clean, well stocked (kitchen cooking items) and nicely decorated. I would say the largest selling points would be: (1) Direct Beach access, (2) very nice pool area & (3) Access to the biking / jogging path along 30-A. However, a convenience that we did not have was access to a fitness facility, either on site or within a short driving distance. I did miss this but made up for it by utilizing the jogging path more. I thought that the price was also a good value for the amenities that we received.

We had a great stay. The only hitch was out check in--the office closes at 5:00--and we got there tired at 9ish. Was difficult to figure out the check in. Otherwise we loved our room. We were on the 22nd floor--oceanfront. We could hear the ocean, and the views were spectacular. The room was amazing--clean, very well appointed and extremely comfortable. There was nothing we could want. The pool was heated to about 90 degrees and the beach was clean and inviting. The gym was clean and well equipped. The resort was large--but besides the pools and gym offered nothing---no snack shop, bar, gift shop etc, and as noted above, the office was only open 9-5.
The only negative beside the check in was that our rental car got hit in the lot our first day there. Although there were cameras--they didn't catch the incident, and while the staff was sympathetic, they really didn't help much or follow up with us.

Everything was perfect: our warm welcoming check in, the cleanliness and condition of the condo, the ocean view with its breathtaking sunsets, the beach strolls, and the short walk proximity of restaurants and entertainment. The three day weekend was pure bliss! The outdoor heated pool and hot tub were especially delightful.

I love this hotel. It was a great location as I was there to run a half marathon. I would go back next year as it's convenient to both airport and town. The staff were very helpful and polite. I would recommend this hotel to families as there are a few pools to be used and they are adjacent to the beach. I look forward to going back to this hotel soon and definitely would recommend it to friends.

There is no staff or front desk. You have to check in five miles away at Calypso. They, however, can not help you when something goes wrong; it's not their responsibility. No one is responsible. Contacting ANYONE affiliated with the condominium is impossible; the number listed on the ads does not connect visitors with a human.

The apartment was spacious and furnished very nicely. It was immaculate and offered everything one would want. It would have been a plus if there was a lobby area that offered beverages (morning coffee) and snacks to purchase in addition to the full kitchen facilities in the unit. When visitors are only coming for a few days, one doesn't necessarily want to purchase coffee, filters, etc. This is only suggestion, not a criticism. We did not use the private bunk room or the sofa bed but certainly there was room for 4 more guests in addition to the 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. I highly recommend The Celedon in Panama City Beach, Florida.
