"Staff was great and room very comfortable. Fabulous breakfast. There was scaffolding in front of the building next door which made entrance tricky to find but not a real issue for us. We had a great stay."

"All the staff were lovely, Sue Caron and Wilma were very friendly reception’s even spoke to the owner yesterday, could do with the bed been softer and night light was very bright but apart from that we had a lovely stay, good value for money and were told to go to Cook’s for our Sunday dinner absolutely delicious, we will defo return very close to go and see the Kelpies which was amazing to see when it gets dark "

"I got a nice spacious room, very clean. Douche has automatic tap that I saw for the first time. You get warm water in a few seconds. The whole experience was well above average, I would recommend it! It is 15 minutes drive out of the city, so if you do not drive, this is not an option."

"What we didn’t have from previous hotels we stayed in was in-room phone and a safe to lock our valuables. Other than everything was great! Also offering one free drink at the bar for every day that we didn’t ask for room cleaning service was a good gesture!"

"Excellent stop off point while making a long journey north on our honeymoon. Very clean, comfortable beds, and most importantly, AIR CONDITIONING. The human body sleeps best when in a cool bed, with the ability to snuggle into bedding to add warmth. Huge bonus considering most UK stops do not have it. Small room but nice view of the race track, and great cont breakfast."

"Our stay was fantastic the staff were so helpful as i had previously fractured ny foot and my mobility was impaired. Margaret was particularly helpfu and made our stay even more memorable will definitely stay again."

"Staff were so welcoming on arrival, hotel was hard to find at first as postcode took us to police station. But was sign posted from further round, free car park too, room was so nice and clean and room service were fast in bring us 2 extra pillows. Could do with a better shower door as water got onto floor. But I'll defo stay again"

"The breakfast area didn’t seem to flow well. Eg the milk was a distance away from where you made your tea. The juice was poor, it was like coloured water. The bacon was delicious and the eggs were good. I didn’t try the sausages. The toast seemed to toast on one side only and I had to “guess” what way to put it back in to toast the other side. Wouldn’t put us off coming again, just an observation. "
