"The apartment was exactly as described - a lovely big bathroom was the highlight. The place was within easy walking distance of the historical centre, and it was good to be able to leave the car at the property beyond check-out time - finding a parking space in central Trogir is not easy!"

"We loved our time at Heritage Hotel Cardo. We felt like Roman royalty in such a historical and well maintained old building and so close to the Diocletian palace and waterfront. Luke and Ivan went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable and had all that we needed. They also assisted with getting our luggage to and from the hotel. My only complaint is the bathroom had a sewer odor which I think is from the old plumbing in the old city and not a hotel problem, but it was a bit pungent at...

"Ivan and his family are amazing. Beautiful small hotel in a very old building. You can walk to everything in Trogir in less than 10 minutes, and the bus to Split is a 3-5 minute walk. Ivan and his family will help you anyway they can. I highly recommend."

"Whilst our stay was short it was a perfect base in Split. The service was very friendly and they were responsive in queries ahead of our stay. The room was modern, clean, and had the required amenities. Breakfast was plentiful and great to see an effort towards being a sustainable stay. "

"Great location in the old town steps from everything. I chose the virtual checkin because I wasn’t sure exactly when I would arrive but the instructions were simple to follow. The room was clean and in good condition. You are above a couple of restaurants so you can hear noise if you open the windows. It didn’t bother me … I actually enjoyed the breeze and waking up to the distant sound of church bells in the morning. As some mentioned, there is no lift but that also wasn’t an issue for me. "

"Beautiful room in a great, quiet location. Just outside if old city, but a quick, easy walk to everyone. We had a private balcony that was perfect for a little afternoon break. Marko greeted at the airport and was great fun to talk to on the drive in. We would gladly stay here again (and hope to one day)."

"The location was perfect for me. Super close to the old city and walking distance to the ferry port. It is essentially a small studio apartment. The only draw back for me was having to carry my luggage up all the stairs. Not a big problem as I was travelling relatively light and only had to tote it up and down once."
