Great hotel. Since it is an old property, they don't have an elevator. However, the carried our bags all the way to top floor, where are room was , and brought them down at check out.
Great location in the old city, walking distance to everything.
Prime location. Staff was wondering. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms so nice with great air conditioning. Bed was super comfortable.
The pool was lovely and quiet except the surrounding area had badly and unsafe damage to the patio slabs which wasn’t fixed in our 6 day stay.
Location fantastic for the city centre and bars and restaurants
Breakfast at the local brasserie was good although did feel two tier when you had to lay extra for a full breakfast or larger coffee.
Just back from a great stay in Room 7 at the Hotel Agava. Great location and really lovely hotel with the added benefit of a swimming pool. The staff were always so helpful and the breakfasts were amazing (at a local restaurant on the Riva).
This is a charming hotel, set just outside the UNESCO old town. It’s a short walk from the nearest road. We suggest you get the optimum drop off location from the hotel to give to your taxi driver.
Be aware that the hotel has steep, narrow staircases and no elevator. However, the staff were very helpful, and helped with all our bags when we checked out.
There are two terraces at the hotel, but neither is protected from the rain. There are a few drinks for sale at reception but there are so many cafes and bars within a short walk, that’s not really a problem.
Overall, a very nice, small hotel with great staff.
On arrival we were warmly greeted. The hotel is in a lovely old building and is true to the pictures down. We were kindly let into our room early.
The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable and although the bathroom was a little small, everything was in working condition and the shower was powerful and hot. The AC thankfully was effective.
There was a fridge in the room stocked with food and drink if you wished to buy any. Our room did not have an external window and although a view would be nice or meant or was very dark at night and we slept well.
The pool, like the rest of the property was very clean and looked after with a peaceful surrounding area. It was a small pool, not suitable for any serious swimming but good for cooling off. They also provide pool towels.
The only minor down side is that the bedroom was right next to reception. There was not much noise but if you are a light sleeper you may hear guests coming if you want a lie in.
There was no breakfast offering but plenty of places nearby. The harbour was a few minutes away, the beach/lido area to swim in was roughly a 15-20 minutes walk.
Overall we were very happy with the stay and it's hard to overstate how at-home the staff made you feel, rather like being guests of a family instead.
Delightful hotel in the Old Town of Split.
Pool small and cold but sunbeds round the pool were comfortable and usually in the sun.
Ask for a room in the main hotel and not the annex

Loved this quaint beautiful hotel just a few short blocks away from Split’s busy old town square, the harbor and great restaurants. Laying by the pool soaking in the warm afternoon sun and a cool swim were a welcome break from sightseeing all morning.
Possibly the nicest hotel we've stayed in. Ideal position for visiting Split, close to Old Town and Palace for sightseeing with lots of nice restaurants and bars also close by. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful and the property was really quaint with lots of character. Can't recommend this property enough.
This property was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to help us and even offer help finding another hotel when we decuded to stay another night in Split and they were booked! We really appreciated all they did!
Nice guest house / hotel close to the main sights in Split. Access to the property is on a short pedestrian-only street with pavestones, and there is no elevator in the property. So be aware that wheeled luggage must still be carried/ managed uphill.
We parked in the nearest covered parking. It is approximately 5 mins walk with luggage. Free on street parking is potentially available in the area.
The room was advertised as economy but would say it was a good double room size. Bathroom was shower only but this was no problem for us. Plenty of power points. Wireless internet was straightforward to access.
The property does not have its own kitchen and breakfast is provided via a voucher for a nice restaurant on the main promenade. There are plenty of other breakfast/dinner options locally.
Pool area was very cute. They accommodated three adults in the room and had a third bed set up no problem. Cool air conditioning and very nice bathroom
