Did not stay in the main house, but the studio just a few doors down was well decorated and very charming. Breakfast in the morning at the main house was lovely with a warm fire going. The hosts were lovely.
All in all a very nice experience.

...Pun intended. First off, this was definitely one of my better hotel experiences. My boyfriend and I have to make frequent trips to Albany. We've stayed at a couple of chain hotels there, and I have to say, this one has been the best so far. We don't need anything super fancy, but we have had to ask for our money back at another hotel because it was filthy. This one, however, was very clean, and comfortable. The bed was one of the more comfortable beds I've slept in. The shower had great water pressure and the overall size of the bathroom was good. I often find that hotel bathrooms are very small, this one is not! The kitchen area was convenient, complete with dishes and some basic cooking utensils. The laundry facilities are awesome. This is the first hotel I've seen that offers completely complimentary laundry. All others have been coin operated. These were just regular washers & dryers. Our request for a room close to the laundry was satisfied and the staff was generally very inviting. We will definitely be back!

I was a bit skeptical when I pulled in, it wasn't much to look at from the outside - just another older motel, like so many that dotted the landscape in the 1960s. The guy at the desk was okay, not overly friendly, but not unhelpful. I didn't have much communication with him, so can't really judge him. He did offer me a wakeup call when I told him I needed to be up early.
As soon as I got to my room, I was pleasantly surprised. It was spacious and comfortable and attractive. The bathroom sparkled. I'd stay here again without reservation (pun intended! ;-) Now I see why 89% of people would recommend. It's not the Ritz, but if you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep, this is it!

We chose this hotel due to it's closeness to the Albany airport. It also offered a continental breakfast, which was a definite plus considering the low cost to stay there. It is also close to other restaurants and businesses.
Cleanliness is very important to me and this site met my guidlines.

It was really nice for the price that I paid, when I booked the hotel they only had 1 smoking room so I requested to be switched to a non-smoking one instead if possible. When I checked in, the clerk was really nice and not only did she change the room, but upgraded it to one with a fridge and a microwave forno extra charge. The room had a slight moisty smell that faded away very uicly aftr I turned the A/C on. The room was neat and spotless. Comfortable double beds and the sheets, blankets and bespread were nice-looking if compared to some old ones that I've seen in other hotels for the same price. A continental breakfast is included but it's just the basic stuff so you might prefer to eat out instead. Still good.
