"The hotel is very near one of Atami's many beautiful beaches. I stayed in the annex building, which needed some better upkeep. It appeared that the main building was nicer. The tropics certainly have more bugs! But generally, Hotel Caretta was a nice stay. The hot tub was nice, along with the breakfast. The pool was not heated. "

"The staff were accommodating and incredible. The do not miss a beat and go above and beyond for guests. The island has a Caribbean vibe but feels much safer and the on-site food is excellent. "

"Asagohan (breakfast) was incredible. The room was really large and the bath was a great way to relax. Stayed here off-season sow was very quiet (very nice). Easy to get to from the airport by bus. 5km walk to some neat restaurants. Car turned out to be a better transport option as the island is spread out and buses could get expensive quickly."
