"The only toilet facilities was a porta potty which smelled and looked like it had not been emptied in months. Shower did not have a way to lock the door of the only shower, to keep others out. We did not have cell phone reception because of the mountains and no way to contact the owner. No one was around to check us in."

"Jason and Michelle are excellent host and respond quickly for what ever is needed. Other owners in the park were friendly and shared a lot of information with our group. The site was located over the water and was quiet and peaceful. Overall we were well pleased with our stay and would recommend to others."

"The kids and I stayed here 2 nights. It was great! We enjoyed the view of a thunderstorm with lightning rolling in the first night, without any water disrupting us in the tent. It was a relaxing sleep that a sound machine cannot duplicate. The beautiful purple and red sunset was positioned perfectly the second night and only affected by the clouds, truly a part of the smoky mountain experience and beyond anyone's control. We could see the Big Dipper clearly and there was no light pollution...

"So many wrong things there i didn't know where to start, first of all no pillow and blanket, the tent was dirty, literally you could see dead insects all over the floor, and a weird smell inside the tent. They say NASA-style bathroom. Lol, it's just a portable bathroom with no lights or anything. They say free water and firewood, It's funny that both owner are not on the same page, when we went one owner said is free and another one said need to buy. And the person who deliver was angry since...

"We were able to have great communication with the hosts Scott and Lynn, and Scott was there to meet us and give a quick lay of the land. We had a nice spot near the creek basically to ourselves and were able to have a great spot near DuPont and Pisgah bike trails! Definitely would recommend!"

"The house is nice. The location is great. Beds were comfy. Kitchen worked nicely. Only advice is to be very careful out on the deck at night. The 3-4 steps from the upper to lower deck are very hard to see at night and no handrail to assist. Make sure ALL the outside lights are on for the best visibility of the steps. Dark brown steps on dark brown deck in the dark is not a good combination."

"This home appears to have had a major upgrade to the entire interior. It is as cute as can be. Exterior is dated but please don’t judge this home by its exterior. The walk-in shower is a plus as were the plush towels and linens. The home is well stocked with all essentials. WI-FI works well and the LR has a Smart TV. It was a joy to stay here and are sad to be leaving this morning. Great place, extremely reasonable cost for a place minutes from Asheville,NC"
