A tighter space than expectedPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: It was clean, nice water pressure in the shower, continental breakfast, location, smoking rooms
Cons: Repaint the walls! The place was filled with patches that stuck out like a sore thumb
Location: Fast food, and sit-down restaurants, the Underground Boat Ride, or the Hidden River, the Harley Shop, Corvette Museum
Visiting Mammoth Caves for our honeymoon. We weren't worried much about the room, just looking for something cheap, so we could spend money elsewhere. It was close to a lot of restaurants and just a few miles from the caves. The location was great, the room clean, the staff seemed pretty indifferent and each person would answer the same question differently, one was sure there was an ice machine on the second floor (there wasn't) another thought the first floor was the only floor with an ice machine, (there was one on the first and another on the third). The walls were a little thin, we could hear the tv from the neighboring room clearly. Luckily the elevator was working, (other reviewers had complained recently that it wasn't working) as the wife was six months pregnant and walking up the stairs would have been a hassle with our luggage, too. The continental breakfast was great, a small something to start the day. For the price, the hotel was great. We would stay again.

Good for the price... But...Posted Oct 21, 2013
Cons: THE WIFI!!!
Room was what I expected for the price. But, the free WIFI didn't work well at all. The signal was weak at best, glacier slow and would keep losing signal. I keep track of my business on the internet and it very important for me to be in touch with customers and business associates. In this day and age for something as simple as WIFI not to work is very disappointing. I asked a couple times at the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do. I had to drive to McDonalds or Panera Bread to conduct my business on line.. After a busy day when I wanted to go back to my room and relax, I found myself sitting in McDonalds just so I could be on line...

Dirty, NastyPosted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: It is filthy/dirty-the reservation people just put in their time
Cons: Clean it up
Location: Bowling Green, KY has plenty to offer - eating, museums, caves, fishing, boating - all within a reasonable driving distance even Nashville, TN - yeah!
The carpets were so filthy that when I stupidly walked twice around room barefoot, they were BLACK! Then the A/C Heating unit was so nasty with lint & dirt we felt like we were breathing filth & germs into our lungs. One morning there was no "regular" coffee only two pump jugs of hot "water". Same 'ole same 'ole donuts each of our 4 mornings. Honestly, the last time we stayed in such a filthy/dirty hotel (even the entrance) was probably back in 1970 we our 2 oldest children wanted to stay in a coastal motel in Galveston, TX. We will be thinking twice before we EVER stay in a Wyndham facility again.

Not a bad place to stay for the price....Ya know ? You get what you pay for.... and I'd say for the most part I got my moneys worth. Yeah...My mattress needed replaced,..But, The wi-fi worked the TV worked, there was a mini fridge and a coffee pot. All I really needed was a bed and a shower. So...for the price, I'd say it was a decent deal. Oh..and there was a little continental breakfast in the mornings.
