A tighter space than expectedPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: It was clean, nice water pressure in the shower, continental breakfast, location, smoking rooms
Cons: Repaint the walls! The place was filled with patches that stuck out like a sore thumb
Location: Fast food, and sit-down restaurants, the Underground Boat Ride, or the Hidden River, the Harley Shop, Corvette Museum
Visiting Mammoth Caves for our honeymoon. We weren't worried much about the room, just looking for something cheap, so we could spend money elsewhere. It was close to a lot of restaurants and just a few miles from the caves. The location was great, the room clean, the staff seemed pretty indifferent and each person would answer the same question differently, one was sure there was an ice machine on the second floor (there wasn't) another thought the first floor was the only floor with an ice machine, (there was one on the first and another on the third). The walls were a little thin, we could hear the tv from the neighboring room clearly. Luckily the elevator was working, (other reviewers had complained recently that it wasn't working) as the wife was six months pregnant and walking up the stairs would have been a hassle with our luggage, too. The continental breakfast was great, a small something to start the day. For the price, the hotel was great. We would stay again.

Good for the price... But...Posted Oct 21, 2013
Cons: THE WIFI!!!
Room was what I expected for the price. But, the free WIFI didn't work well at all. The signal was weak at best, glacier slow and would keep losing signal. I keep track of my business on the internet and it very important for me to be in touch with customers and business associates. In this day and age for something as simple as WIFI not to work is very disappointing. I asked a couple times at the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do. I had to drive to McDonalds or Panera Bread to conduct my business on line.. After a busy day when I wanted to go back to my room and relax, I found myself sitting in McDonalds just so I could be on line...

Dirtiest motel that I have ever stayed inPosted Oct 2, 2013
Will never recommend. Dirty carpets , walls Air conditioning did not blow cool air. No screen in window to allow cool night air in room unless you want to be are alive by Mosquitos and other flying pests

Good Overnight StayPosted Sep 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The motel offerd just what I was looking for - easy access to I-65, reasonable price, some good nearby restaurants and an average breakfast in the morning. (The OJ was great, the best tasting in a long while). Very friendly staff and a quiet night on a comfy bed. The price was right for me, a solo traveler. Decent restaurants down the road about a mile. Nice.

Great hotel for a business tripPosted Sep 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was very impressed by the room. Just a $50 room, but you can tell it has been remodeled recently. The bed was great, the furnishing were modern, and the flat screen tv was large. Very clean room as well. The room I was in had a mini fridge and microwave for people who stay longer. The room overall wasn't the largest, but not many people spend much time in their hotel room. If you were on business and had to spend a lot of time sitting in your room, then you might not like, and there is no table or comfortable chair to sit in and watch tv.

The most disappointing thing about this hotel is the "Continental breakfast" area and selection. Way to small and not enough items to choose from. And the coffee cups are like shot glasses. The rooms were nice and they have big flat screen TVs. Bathrooms could use to be updated.

The hotel was clean and there was not a lot of noise. Easy access off of interstate.
