Close to airport with a gas station right across the street. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean. Only complaint would be the airport transfer. Getting to the airport was great. Unfortunately, after we landed was a bit of a mess. We called front desk to let them know we were ready for a ride. Turns out, there were about 30 of us waiting for the same ride. The first van packed as many people in as they could, leaving 17 of us to wait. Called front desk again asking them to please send another van. While waiting, another group approached the waiting spot. We kindly told them we had been waiting an hour for a ride and please let us all go first. All 17 packed in, including one lady who sat on the floor. When we finally made it back, we had to wait another 15 minutes because the back door of the van was jammed. By the time it was all said and done, we got in our car 2 HOURS after we landed. We said many times, we should have just got an Uber. When we came home, we called for the hotel shuttle as instructed. We were told the shuttle would leave the hotel at 7:30 and pick us up at 7:37\. We were in place waiting for him by 7:25\. At 7:45 I called the hotel and was told we'd missed him and he'd be back at 8:11\. There's no way we missed him -- he just didn't come. Person at the front desk was no help. We ended up Ubering back to our car. This is the last time we'll waste our time with Holiday Inn. The furniture was dated but clean and in good condition overall. We didn’t eat at the on-site restaurant but it looked clean as we walked by and had a decent breakfast menu. We rented a car for the long weekend we were in town, dominant comment on the shuttle, but parking was no trouble. Had to ask housekeeping for more sheets to make my kid feel comfortable.. You can see some age on the rooms like wallpaper starting to peel in a spot or two. Housekeeping didn't speak any English so getting sheets from them became a lil harder than expected but finally got that sorted and laid down to relax before the show. There were 2 tvs but one remote and no apps. Cable only. 42 channels of cable and one controller with 2 adults and a 9 year old made us wish we would of brought the Playstation and a firesrick. Surprisingly when u walk in the main entrance there is a beautifull fountain and the sound of rushing water. There was an oversight on the website. I looked to see if there was a breakfast. There was a restaurant where you could purchase breakfast not a continental breakfast. Which is assumed when mentioning there is a breakfast. There was a club/bar that played music later than I preferred. I didn't know one was on-site. Room was nice to look at... I have stayed in MANY hotels. These beds are the top 2 hardest i ever slept in.
