"What a great place, run by Pieter (an understated rockstar of B&B) and Margot. Behind its large electric gates they have created a wonderful haven in which to spend a lovely, peaceful break. The breakfasts are phenomenal, all home made and fresh. The stylish bar stocked with drinks and snacks and an honesty box works brilliantly. Would love to stay here again."

"From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything about Roca Verde was special. The attention to detail was remarkable (the origami flower on the toilet roll!). The breakfasts were absolutely gorgeous. We didn't have a car, so we stayed there each day and just soaked up the peace and quiet and the beautiful surroundings. "We loved this hotel. Beautiful location great views and an amazing staff that was so helpful. We missed a day because of a missed train unfortunately they wouldn't grant our money back for that one evening as they have a no refund policy for the one missed day but everything else was amazing."

"The hotel is excellent in terms of facilities and cleaning. They had everything one would need on a holiday. Only slight criticism is the hot tub was not hot enough. We asked at the guest Servcies to turn it up which they did but even then it was like warm at best. I guess for some people that would be fine but for us it was a bit disappointing. Other than that I can’t fault anything else. "
