"Overall, our stay was wonderful as the house was in a great location and was a great size for a large group of people. The outdoor accommodations were also perfect for a sunrise coffee and a sundown fire. We were a bit put off by how unkept the house was. We spent a lot of time cleaning the wrap around deck and outdoor so e as it was covered in debris, leaves, and cobwebs. Additionally, the inside was only cleaned in obvious areas. "We rented this property for the beach area pictured. It looked nothing like that picture. The beach was dirty with little sand and there was a pontoon docked in the middle the entire weekend. The property owner, from the beginning of the rental process, was also terrible with communication. The smell of sewage and the ridiculous amount of wasps made sitting out on the porch for more than 20 minutes impossible. "We had a lovely stay. The house was so lovely and well equipped with such attention to detail. As we sat on the deck drinking our coffee, we saw osprey, blue heron, coots and turtles. The beds were comfortable. Our only complaint was an oil rig right next to the house. I have sensitive lungs and had some difficulty with the off gassing from the rig."
