"We loved our stay at this property. It's a ground floor cottage fronting onto Morecambe bay and it is super peaceful, the views are amazing as the sea comes in and out, and the bird-watching opps are brilliant. Sparrow hawk swept through the garden, oyster catchers, plovers and others were in the bay. The cottage is lovely at a basic level so don't expect great luxury. That suited us fine. "This is one of the nicest places I've stayed in it was so peaceful and the house felt cosy. It had everything you could think of or need. Some lovely villages round it . I would definitely stay there again and recommend it."

"Charming lodge with a fantastic hot tub and log burner. The place is nice and warm and private (I think the bushes have grown since the other reviews!). We did reverse our car up to the top of the drive, this blocked off views to the garden. Short walk into Cartmel, Grange isn’t too far either."

We had a beautiful view of the lake from our lodge and although we didn't take part it looked like there was lots of activities going on (this didn't disturb us) Our lodge was bigger than expected and clean Lots of cutlery and plates to use and a filter coffee machine which was a lovely touch. The property is easy to get to and a good base for exploring the area. "
