The owner of the main house greeted us upon check-in and checked in with us throughout our stay as well. He was super cool and fun to talk to! "We had eleven family members together to celebrate our parent's anniversary. The house and grounds are gorgeous! The layout of the house is great for that many people. Lots of areas to gather and visit or play games. There were a couple hiccups that were addressed very quickly. We also found out they were probably due to lightning or power surge from tornado that had come through the day before our visit. So, we can hardly blame them for freak occurrences. "I drove around for an hour waiting for a parking space to become available close to the hotel. There was no one on site at 7 pm when I arrived, and my code for the outside door would not work. Luckily, two guests let me in when they went in. The room had one little window at the top of the corner, making it feel like I was in the basement.
