Booked a non smoking room; upon checkin elevator not working, room stunk of stall smoke and fridge didn’t work. Property was run down and in a questionable area; didn’t feel safe. Bags of garbage in hall from housekeeping Had to leave and go to another hotel; wasn’t able to get refund because no management was onsite. Would never recommend

Unsafe are and customers! No elevator. The whole place smells like cigarettes. Our first room smelled like marijuana so bad we had to switch rooms. Second room has one light flickering and the DIRTY shower won’t even turn on !! Attempted to stay here with my teenage son. We left after 2 hours and went elsewhere.

The room was filthy. Every countertop and flat surface had food substances. The carpet was extremely dirty and had not been swept or vacuumed in many days. There were hairs and crumbs on the bed cover. It was gross and disgusting! The bathroom had not been cleaned. The toilet was beyond dirty. I had to spend the night for an important meeting in the area the next day otherwise I would have slept in my car. Even the lobby and steps to the second floor were filthy.

The rooms aren’t clean. There were coffee stains and hair on bed sheets, the floor wasn’t vacuumed, the bathroom had also stains.

Rooms need an actual clean not quick wipe down. Dust behind bed on bedshirt and food crums,crumbs on bedside table,lightswitches dirty,microwave i dont think has ever been cleaned,bedsheets on 1 bed were inside out and hallways could use a vacuum. But didn't see bedbugs so that's a plus. Staff super friendly and breakfast decent(toast,bagel,mini muffins,5 individual bowl cereal options,oatmeal packs,yogurt,coffee/tea/oj or apple juice).

the Kingsize bed was too small. {too short and not wide enough] Plus you only get 7 channels on the TV, after 2 days of no TV this was the best that they could manage.

Terrible service.
Terrible service. No body cares about the guests or making a good impression. Trash cans full most of the time while Front Desk staff are playing games on the cell phone.

Days Inn Rochester Hills, MI
This hotel is value priced and is pet friendly. I'm a volunteer for Leader Dogs for the Blind and I appreciate the pet friendliness and the location. The clerk at the front desk has waited on me several times. He's a wonderful guy!

In the description of the king size room, it specifically said there was a sofa bed, there was not. It was just a chair. The room smelled awful !!! Like mold, the floor by ac unit was soaked when we got there , the batteys in the remote died and front desk said there was nothing he could do? The smoke alarm battery was dying so it beeped non stop. The CARPETED hallway had wet floor signs everywhere.

Checked in. Went to my room. Immediately turned around, asked for a refund and left. Bed linens were wrinkled and did not look freshly laundered. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and there were dead bugs in the bathroom. Additionally, the room backs onto a major hwy and was very noisy. I will say the receptionist was very nice as well as apologetic and processed my refund without question.

We did not like the appearance of the bathroom. The bottom of the tub was in terrible shape and there were not sufficient towels in the bathroom when we arrived. We had to go and find somebody to give us hand towels.

The rooms become unable to breath due to people smoke around the property which comes inside the rooms. Specially our room was like that. The AC/Heater unit had a gap which allowed cold to come in along with other people's smoke too. Hard for our children and myself to even breath properly. We all had burning feeling at one point due to excessive smoky environment. Breakfast is a joke. Bathrooms are not tidy and they dont clean your bedsheets and towels until special request for environmental purpose. Seriously? I wont stay for free as well

I like the location of the hotel and the pet friendly aspect. The price of the room was very reasonable, but the free breakfast was skimpy and the bathrooms need remodeling.

Filthy! I checked in to this dump around 3 pm and then checked out at around 7 pm. I just couldn’t bring myself to stay there overnight. The bathroom is filthy. The bedding had stains. The stairway leading upstairs was absolutely atrocious! I am fed up with Days Inn hotels

First room they gave us was filthy. Discarded pieces of worn off caulk all over the bathroom floor, the sink was completely covered in dirt, and the tub was sticky. The second room was only slightly cleaner and the bed was barely made. We asked for towels as there were none in the room and were told they were booked solid the day before so no towels were available. The entire place smelled like cigarette smoke and wet dog.

Staff were very nice but hotel room was dirty. Stains on bedding, pillows and bathroom toilet seat. Cleanliness could for sure be improved. Otherwise hotel was fine staying for just one night.
