Fantastic location and the staff were really nice. The room was comfortable and sitting rooms were very cool. My only complaint I had was a difficult time with the temperature in the room. I had a window AC and box fan and that was fine for the day time but it stayed really cold during the night, and the thermostat didn’t seem to work to heat it back up.
Great lodging option for those staying in Detroit. Friendly staff and great rooms in wonderful old former upscale homes from the 1880’s. The hotel is close to many attractions. I will say that trying to check in online did not work very well and the phone number listed did not seem to go anywhere. I looked them up on the internet, got the correct phone number and called to check in which went smoothly. The issue may have been because I went through Expedia to book the room. We will definitely go back!
No ac on a sweltering day and night. Maid took all the towels and didn't replace them. Very low shower water pressure. But otherwise, very nice! Awesome weekend pastries, and very helpful staff (24/7). Location was also great if you don't mind waiting for the qline (free).
This Inn is in the cultural part of the city so if thats your thing, you couldn't pick a better place to stay. Plenty of restaurants nearby and even more are accessible via the q line.
I loved the bed and breakfast feel of the place and i hope that never changes.
We were in town for a show at the majestic. Felt fine in neighborhood . Walking to and from show at 1130 pm , felt perfectly safe. Inn was beautiful. We enjoyed the stay very much
My wife and I stayed at the Roehm House. It was awesome. Quiet, well maintained and friendly staff. We will book a stay again, when we travel back to Detroit. The only downside was no Continental Breakfast. But I understand the reason because of some renovations. With that said, it easy within easy walking distance to several restaurants. However, on our last night of our stay, we enjoyed some crackers and cheese with wine on the front porch with the beautiful weather and surroundings. We will be back when we want to visit more of the many museums in the area. I can not say enough great things about our stay at the Roehm House. BTW - the free parking in the back was a very nice touch. Thank you so much.
There is a close Q-Line stop at Ferry St, which gives easy free access to all the bars restaurants and arenas/stadiums off of Woodward Ave. Very convenient.
Great location convenient to local restaurants and coffee shops. Close to downtown. Quiet area and bed was comfortable. Unique, Victorian charm. Easy and safe parking. Will definitely be back. Convenient affordability.
