It has all you need and is close to the beach, shops, restaurants. "Lia and George's cottage is located directly on a canal, on a quiet street in a pretty village. It is conveniently located close to the bus line which will get you to Amsterdam's Noord Station within 10 minutes. Plus, it is an easy drive from here to Volendam, Edam, Zaanse Schans, Keukenhof and so much more. Our stay was perfectly peaceful ... we loved being surrounded by nature, watching the ducks and swans swim by, and keeping an eye on the sheep and horses across the canal. We had everyhing...

"This wonderful little cottage in the woods is the perfect place to relax, explore the dune reserve and get away from it all. You are woken by birds and apart from the wind in the trees, that's the only sound. The house is well equipped and in the perfect location for stroll to the nearby town of Schoorl, or as a base for exploring the surrounding area of dunes and forests and of course, the amazing golden beaches. "We are a family of 4 from Canada, and this was such a lovely place to stay and explore the area including Amsterdam. It was very easy to hop in the train. The guesthouse was clean and very cutely decorated. Marcel was very accommodating and kind. We didn't have much time to visit him because we were so busy, but he checked in with us frequently. I would highly recommend a stay here."

De beach cottage heeft veel extra voorzieningen als een koel-/vriescombinatie, een wasmachine met droger, een vaatwasser, oventje en magnetron. Verder is er ruim voldoende servies en bestek. The hotel provides guides for the surrounding area which we should have paid more attention to as they had some very good recommendations for food that was nearby rather than us taking the bus into the city centre."

"Nice and clean hotel with very good facilities like a gym and pool table. Located within a few stops for the airport and has good access to public transport to the city centre. The hotel staff team were excellent and very responsive to any queries. "

There was another gentleman at night who's name has slipped my mind, but he was also very kind and eager to help! My only minor complaint is not having dish soap or cleaner in the room! You can buy it for very cheap downstairs, we just never got around to it. "
