Outstanding staff from Valets to Front Desk to Bar Staff to Security to Housekeeping to everyone on staff we encountered……professional, helpful, great attitude, best overall staff we have encountered in years of traveling!!

This is probably the nicest Dallas hotel. The staff were wonderful, the decor is beautiful and there is so much attention to detail. The rooftop pool area is sublime and felt very special. We even went downstairs for a dance one night! I would recommend the Swexan to anybody travelling to Dallas, as a family or a romantic getaway.

Casa Duro was a fabulous boutique hotel that felt more had the intimate feel of a bed and breakfast. We stayed in the “Marcia” which was perfect for my husband and me and our adult son. We had 2 full bathrooms which was so nice as well a large dining room table where we played dominoes, Scrabble and Uno on a rainy day. The area surrounding had fantastic restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed walking around the lake and The Arboretum and Greenville. The best was Sisters restaurant just below our room. Sister’s food tantalized all your senses. The wait staff enhanced your dining experience and made you feel VIP. You would think staying above a busy restaurant would be noisy but it was so quiet. Slept through all our nights peacefully. There was an automatic espresso machine in the kitchen but we enjoyed going downstairs to the coffee shop for freshly baked Patisseries and cappuccinos. Highly recommend Casa Duro, Sisters and the surrounding area.

Historic building converted to a bunch of funky urban flats. Close to Farmers Market and a few cool dive bars. Pool is nice too
