“Great service”

Hotel staff was unbelievable. When I was not able to purchase tickets for the train they purchased them for me. The stairs are definitely a downside so make sure you ring the bell when checking in. Won't stay anywhere else in Florence.

“Almost perfect stay”

I really liked my stay on this hotel. It is ideally located for all the main attractions in Florence, all of them are 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. They offer a happy hour that seemed quite popular and well prepared ( I could not attend, I was really busy, but the detail is worth mentioning). The breakfast was quite nice, you will not leave feeling hungry or cheated by the quality of the produce: fresh juice and fruits, nice roles and pastries, even cakes if you are indulging, plus many other regular items. I was really grateful to have a laptop on my room, that is a great idea that speaks service, no poor excuses or expensive connections like in major hotel chains. The only very small niggle during my visit was the TV: I lost the BBC channels from the start and it behaved in strange ways in spite of being reset several times. I really didn't mind since only a fool would watch too much TV while in Florence, but it's a small detail that could be ironed out, but this is really nick picking.

Perfect Florence location at a very reasonable price. The people working the front desk could not have been more accommodating/friendly and helpful.

“Hotel Davanzati, the only place to stay in Florence”

Do not look any further. This is the place to stay in Florence. Great location. You can walk around to all of the sights. Great shopping is less than a block away. The staff and hotel owners are wonderful. They are so helpful. The room was wonderful. Large room. Large bathroom. Great breakfast. Great cappuccino. I cannot wait to return to beautiful Florence and stay at Hotel Davanzati!!!

“Great place, a bit funky”

Good location (although it could be noisy); friendly staff; interesting happy hour with candles, pulsating music and free drinks; comfortable room with laptop and movies. A great place to stay in Florence.
