"I would book the Carriage House within a heartbeat if I was visiting Charleston again. It was absolutely perfect and you can't beat the location. "We are return guests. We reserved a water view room. We checked in, started to unpack and discovered water pouring out of the ceiling about bath vanity. The A/C handler was located in the ceiling above the bath vanity. We had to change rooms. The room was very nice, but the view was terrible - the backside of the hotel. "
