This was a great property.
Clean, nice and well appointed rooms.
An excellent location to everything in the historic district, French Quarter and waterfront.
The staff were amazing, especially the young man who checked us in. He had great knowledge of the area, places to eat amd sights to see. I will definitely stay at this property again.
Loved the separate sleeping area upstairs and living room downstairs. TVs in both areas too. The kitchen was fully stocked and had a full sized fridge and stove. Everything you need is there, bowls, plates, silverware, toaster, blender, cutting board and more. Great location in the middle of all the action in Charleston.

The space was fantastic. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was old (to be fair, buildings down there are old) but it is in need of a renovation. The cleaning supplies they use in the hallway/main areas gave me headaches.
Excellent location - but clearly the hotel has seen better days. There is a lot of wear and tear - some would perhaps feel this was charming. The fitness center smelled awful and I couldn’t be in there for more than a few minutes. The people who worked here were amazing however!

Extremely pleasant and helpful staff at the front desk
This was our second stay at Church Street. Its location that is so close to The Market was our favorite part. The afternoon desk staff was so kind and helpful and he made us feel so at home. The only thing missing is the ability to do laundry.

Suite size was perfect. I loved how the living room, kitchen and extra bathroom is upstairs away from the bedroom.
Perfect spot for us. We loved the two level and the location was perfect.

Disliked: Amenities
Maybe I didn't read the amenities like I should have, but I was not aware that our room would not be serviced until after the third day. Also it was a two level room with the living area on first level and bedroom on second level with a dozen steps at least. We made it slowly but was a bit difficult with luggage. Just be mindful if you have any mobility issues. The location of Church Street Inn is the bet feature with it being directly across the street from the Historic Market and numerous tours of the city.
Everything... The location was perfect - within walking distance of everything I planned to do, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms were clean, and bed was comfortable. Even though the Church Street Inn is in a bustling location, my room was very quiet.

A/C worked well, location was INCREDIBLE for us, staff was really friendly, especially Ty, the courtyard was a great bonus for our kids to run around or to read a book or have a snack when we were in transition, and it was nice having a kitchen and full size fridge. Condition was worn, though some updates were done like the floors were newer, and vanities appeared nice but were not top quality, lots of paint chips in baseboards, but literally none of that mattered to us because the location was so good and it was half the price of anywhere else in that area. And we could not hear any neighbors, we could just hear some young adults talking in the courtyard but they werent out late. All in all, loved the location and everything else was average at best but for below average price in well well above average location.
