"This was our first time staying in Sacramento. Been to it and thru it a million times but have never stayed!! This cottage/home/neighbirhood. Felt like home. ABSOLUTELY gorgeous neighborhood! Immaculately clean and super well equipped! We might come back just for fun next time. We were in town for a volleyball tournament and didn’t get to relax or enjoy the serenity of this property! "The 1 bdrm house was perfect, there was so much that reminded me of my childhood home. It was very welcoming and comforting. I absolutely loved how wine bottles were displayed and noted that they were available for consumption.The backyard set up was simply adorable but due to the weather i didn't really get to enjoy it. Overall i will definitely stay again."

"Everything went well. It is a good location Near UC Davis Hospital In a quiet neighborhood. The directions sent to us were inaccurate and took us to a home that the occupant said we were at the wrong place. The directions need to be rewritten. When I texted the host for help in finding the property they did not reply. We had a good stay in Sacramento Area."

"Kim went out of her way to make us feel welcome, She typed a special message for us wishing us a happy anniversary. Kim baked us blueberry, banana crunch, zucchini muffins and Lincoln blood red pies, she also made double chocolate chip and Praline biscotti’s. Everything was yummy. "The Roost was perfect for a quick trip and time needed away. The accommodations were clean, organized and decorated comfortably with a lot of character. I was able to make a full meal in the small but functional kitchen. I love that this is a hidden gem in a lesser known wine region."

"Good location, clean, simple to checkin and check out. Neighborhood a bit noisy with trucks idling in the AM and train whistles throughout the evening. Would have liked an outdoor space although since it rained the whole weekend, didn’t matter in the end. For wine country, would have expected appropriate stemware. Overall a nice place."

"A wonderful 3 bedroom cabin in parklike setting. It was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The hosts Frank and Rebecca live close by and are attentive to any needs. It was perfect for our "girls weekend" of wine and food tasting. Also enjoyed shopping downtown Sutter Creek. We will definitely return !! "

"Very comfortable 3 night stay. Great location! Did some fishing off the boat dock. Has everything you need. Stairs were a little difficult & steep (and you are forewarned), but once you get everything upstairs, it was very pleasant. Neighbors are very close by, but that is Delta living. Highly recommend. "Colleagues from all over the country met here in Sacramento and stayed at this lovely home. The outdoor space is beautiful and was a fantastic backdrop for work, food and conversation. Unfortunately, it rained during part of our stay, but the comfortable indoor space met all our needs for the weekend. The host was tremendously, responsive, and helpful. I would stay here again"
