Luxury Hotels in Grass Valley

Excelent Ski Resort Hotel and Location and quite reasonable.

We loved our stay at the Squaw Valley Lodge last weekend. We rented a 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condo with a large living room and full kitchen. The whole unit was awesome! Huge rooms, tons of space, comfy beds and couches, well maintained and very clean. The kitchen was great, everything we needed. We also had two decks with partial views of the mountain and the Gondola which was great. We were about 20 yards from the bottom of the Tram - so easy to get up to the best ski runs. Also a few feet away from the village restaurants and bars which makes it so relaxing - you never need to go to your car all weekend. The only negative was the staff. We are not needy hotel guests at all.. but they were rude and not helpful at all when our key cards were deactivated two days in a row. We were standing there in the lobby, in ski boots, waiting for about 5 mins for the one employee to help us. They were not apologetic at all about the issue and our having to walk over there everyday to get it fixed (in a separate building.) They were also not very friendly to other guests I saw checking in or asking for help.

A vintage hotel to take you back to earlier times. Bed was very comfortable with quality linens. A tour of the Empire Mine completes the journey of an earlier time. The supper at the hotel was awesome. The prime rib was soooooo delicious.

the perfect get away for a resonable price in Grass Valley

This place rates as one of our top 3 family vacations of all time! The Village was a wonderful experience for our kids and parents too! First timers and now planning to be annual return customers. Yes, it was that good!

Everyone there was very friendly & helpful. Very neat and clean smelling. Also very quiet. If in that area again, would definitely stay there.

We love this ski in ski out full kitchen family style home environment! And the tub with jets- yay! Perfect after a ski day!

Not much to say, it was a little rustic but very well maintained and very affordable compared to other hotels in the area.
