"We stayed at this charming and picturesque farmhouse for a quick family get-together in early August. It is the perfect location for multiple trips to the nearby racetrack, and we spent plenty of time just wiling away the hours poolside or on the back patio. The home itself is wonderful with lots of unique spaces, and the hosts were attentive and gracious. I recommend to anyone!"

"Lovely home! Tranquility at it's finest! Babbling brook going through the back yard! Family enjoyed cooking meals together in a huge kitchen! Enjoyed fires in the wood burning stove! Enjoyed the scenery hiking the 45 arce property. Enjoyed interacting with the goats, chickens, and ducks next door. 9 and 11 y/o had a blast. Host of the property was very accessible to whatever we needed! Our check out day we visited historic Bennington (historic street from the revolutionary war era). I can go on...

A great little breakfast spot within a 3 min ride or 10 min walk if you are up to it. Beautiful river across the way. A 15 min drive to the heart of the Lake George Town. "We had a very nice time enjoying our working vacation in Salem. The property is gorgeous with lots of walking opportunities, which our dog thoroughly appreciated. The house has various areas to relax in depending on the time of day and we enjoyed the bird and other wildlife watching. "Much of the typical Lake George activities were closed since we visited during April, but we were very happy to stay here and will definitely return! It was the perfect space for us two (with extra to fit an additional friend or 2). Owner provided towels, pans, grill, coffee, etc for the stay which is greatly appreciated. It was close distance to anywhere we needed to go for groceries, activities, stores! Sad to go but I look forward to future travels here :)"
