"While I enjoy the room amenities, not having room service after 11pm, seems odd for a MGM property, especially a 24/7 casino. Additionally the TAP restaurant should have some all-day breakfast items or a breakfast menu beyond 11am, as some folks checkout at 11am and look forward to breakfast but have to go to an external restaurant."

"Staff not very welcoming"

"This is a high quality conversion of a historic building into apartments. It was more upscale than I thought it would be. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you would need for an extended stay. There was literally no detectable noise from other apartments or corridors. One evening there was an event at the lobby bar/cafe with a live band. This was completely inaudible from my room, which is impressive. The apartment I had was of slightly odd design, as it was a long, narrow rectangle. This could be off-putting for some people, as for example, you would need to turn your head 90 degrees when sitting on the sofa to watch the TV. There was limited natural light as all the windows faced the interior of the building. Aircon was a bit loud and could not be turned off completely. It was not however disruptive to sleep. Staff were polite and efficient. Apartments are only usually serviced once a week, so be aware of this. There are several restaurants onsite but I didn't eat at any of them so can't provide comments. Reception staff were polite and efficient. Comerica Park and Little Caesars Arena are both within reasonable walking distance. Although downtown Detroit has a bad reputation, I found it safe and eminently walkable. It can be a bit deserted at night though. There are dining and fast food options within walking distance, but many had limited opening hours as they presumably mainly serve commuting business people in the offices. I recommend this hotel."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean room, spacious. Boring view of back parking garage roofs. I came from IL and Google maps did have some issues navigating because the hotel is one of several buildings in a large center w many parking garages plus on a one way street. Nice restaurant with good food in the hotel but it was the only choice, would have been nice to have another restaurant or 2. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The room was clean. Some of the bedding had holes in them. We had to go to Target to buy soap (the soap provided was the size of an ice cube) and shampoo. "
