"This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. It is very aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable. The backyard is a perfect setting, with a fire pit right on the water. We sat out there and watched the big swans on the lake. The location was perfect. We attended the Michigan game and the travel to and from the stadium was short and no traffic. There were tons of places to eat that was close by. This property is at the top of my list of places to stay!!!"

"The stay was lovely, and the property has a great location and vibe! There was a little confusion getting in, just because the listing doesn't make it look like there are 2 separate sructures (garage/hot tub/ large bedroom w/ mini bar up top and main house with kitchen/ pool table/ bedrooms/ living room down by the lake). However, the home itself is lovely, and in a prime location on the lake! Shower curtain and bath rugs up top weren't the cleanest, but the rest of the home was in great shape....

"House is beautiful! Host was amazing. Our truck battery was dead and it took us a while to replace it on checkout day. Host totally accommodated us AND offered to help but wouldn't let us pay extra for late checkout. Excellent experience, very kind man. Thank you!"

"First and foremost, Shane, the renter, was amazing to deal with. Always answered my questions quickly. Home was perfect for a girls weekend celebrating a 50th birthday. The location is amazing on the lake. Saw a loon, a swan and an albino squirrel. Kitchen had plenty of everything you need. Beds were SUPER comfortable. Some things are a little dated, but never bothered us. I can't wait to plan another girls weekend here!"

"We were in town for a family wedding in East Lansing with the reception at Crystal Gardens in Howell. Perfect property and location for out of town large families traveling to stay and relax for an event or reunion. 2 Bedrooms upstairs in the main house and 1 bedroom downstairs and 1 large bedroom with bunks with a full bathroom in the garage. "The hosts went above and beyond putting up a Christmas tree for our Christmas stay. The house was clean with plenty of space, and plenty of dishes and pots and pans. Our sleeping arrangements were a bit odd due to toddlers, but we made it work. Host was super responsive! FYI the coffee maker is a Keurig."
