Rude staff, dirty room.

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The price was reasonable, but I got what I paid for.
Cons: Cleanliness could use much improvement. Hiring staff that realize they are in the business of serving customers would be a good idea.
Location: Didn't stay for the entertainment, just wanted a bed for the night.
The woman at the front desk was rude and lacked basic social skills. The room smelled of smoke. The shower ceiling had black fingerprints on it (not sure if it was grease or mildew).

I wouldnt stay here again...

Posted Apr 1, 2014
I wouldnt stay here again...staff not very friendly...overpriced for the quality...room sadly in need of upgrades...did not have similar amenities to other red roofs...no breakfast...no hairdryer...no kleenex even....old mattress...not very clean...had a king superior room amd was no different than any ordinary room...no perks AT ALL.....a total disappointment and with similarly priced hotels nearby definitely not a good choice!!!! Had been traveling for 2 weeks and stopped on our way home and it was the worst!

Only 5 miles from Lucas Oil. Price was my draw.

Pros: Price/distance from my reason to come to Indy.
Cons: Update the facility. Smoke smell in non-smoking room.
Location: Indy is a very cool place to enjoy the night life and take in some good food. I was there for the NCAA sweet 16. Great city for that type event!!
Was a bit dated. Staff was pretty nice. Room smelled like smoke, even though it is supposed to be smoke free. No frills kinda place. Again, money was the draw and don't expect much other than a clean room and comfortable bed.

Red Dump Inn

Posted Mar 8, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Tear it down and start over
Location: Nothing near by or to do
I arrived to a smoke smell filled room where I had to leave the door open a few hours to try and reduce the smells. The bed was like a rock and would have been better off in my car or sleeping in a snow bank. The sink trim was falling off, tub had cigarette burns and overall condition extremely poor.

Not a great first impression of a Red Roof Inn.

The staff were very pleasant. The hotel is at best a 2.5*. Smelled of stale cigarette smoke and nothing more than basic accommodations.

Very disappointed

Posted Mar 4, 2014
I chose to stay here because it was close to my daughters college campus. The room was dirty. The flat screen TV promised was not there. The shower had broken and missing tiles. There was a cold draft coming in from the outside door that was so strong I had to put my luggage in front of the door to limit it. The room was promised to be non-smoking but smelled of smoke. I will never stay here again. Would not recommend to anyone.

I like my stay. I was there for a week. Never had a problem. They allow pets too.
