"We booked this hostel as part of our honeymoon and were very disappointed. The rooms were small and noise could be heard all over hostel. The bathroom was tiny. There were disturbing signs relating to child protection and the area was very dangerous. We had two attempts of robbery outside hostel."

"This is a very colonial era hotel, beautiful decor and ambience. The location is not bad, night time is a bit scary to go out. The room we had was nice, it was on the first floor. We really enjoyed the garden terrace and the rooftop terrace with a nice view. Breakfast was included and made fresh for you. It would have been nice if all the staff were bilingual in speaking English. Despite the language barrier all the staff were very accommodating, pleasant and friendly. We want to give a shout...

"Nice little hostal in a family home in a very quiet street 5 minutes walk to Candelaria. Clean basic room. Hard bed but I soon adapted ! No a/c or TV and shared bathroom. Exactly what I expected for the price. Lovely helpful staff. Breakfast served in kitchen on ground floor. Free wifi in room."

We found ourselves in a different country without a place to stay, I cant believe Expedia still advertises this hotel and dpes not even investigates if places are legit. This place has been closed for months, we found a sign at the door. We were desperate, it was a very scary and disappointing experience."
