"We stayed at Tudor Cottage for three nights, a treat for my Husbands birthday . The cottage is from the 15 th century and is called a burbage . Which means it belonged to a King or Lord ! In this case King Henry the Eighth . Huge wood fire ,,which made the living room really cosy Although old , the cottage has everything you could wish for. There is a lovely garden out the back , which I am sure in the summer evenings , it would be a lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink or two . The bedrooms...

"I stayed at the property for 3 nights with my 12 year old son and my Mum. The Byre had everything we needed. Would not recommend for cosy evenings in as the sofa and armchair are small and not the most comfortable but otherwise we couldn't fault it. As we didn't spend much time sitting around, it was fine for us."

"Hooks Farm Cottages are located on a working diary farm. The accommodation is excellent with plenty of amenities. The owners are very friendly and there is plenty to see within a short drive. Though the M4 is within viewing distance from the front of the property there is no road noise at all. Excellent. "

"Directions and arrival instructions were accurate and easy to follow. The cottage is well appointed and spacious. Access to the upstairs bathroom is a little restricted but not a significant problem. As mentioned in the owners description, transport is required as there is nothing in the immediate area. However this means it's a lovely quiet countryside environment. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and the lovely area."

"We really liked the cottage, it was perfect for us as two friends together. We really appreciated the little extras that were left. It was very quiet although central to Lechlade. Parking was in the street but we found somewhere each day for two cars. Highly recommend this cottage"

"There were ten of us (6 adults and 4 children) and we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend together. There was plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms and everything one would expect to find in a property of this size. The outdoor games, the pool and the indoor games room were all great favourites with the children."

"Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."

"Location was great and right in the centre of Newbury. Apartment was equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The room was uncomfortably hot and the small amount the windows opened and fan were no use. Our shower was totally blocked but it was sorted. Cleanliness of the apartment was not to my standard. "
