"Well situated Hotel"
The Hotel is well situated at the south end of the strip, it is on one corner of the a crossroad, with MGM Grand opposite and Excalibur and New York across the road. There is a bus stop outside the Tropicana so it easy to get the Deuce or SDX buses that run on a regular basis during the day, with the Deuce bus operating during the night. The hotel is good having recently undergoing some renovation. The room we had was very good, two Queen beds plenty of room, with a good sized bathroom.

"Wonderful hotel!!!!!!!"
We stayed in the one bedroom suite. The room was just like the pictures. Very roomy with awesome views of the strip!!!!!!!!! Beautiful room I must say. We had a great time and def would stay here again. Staff was excellent...provided us with great service. Only downfall was the distance from the strip. If this hotel was on the strip it would have been absolutely perfect!!! This is def a place I would looooove to stay at again!!!!!

"Great location "
Stayed at Caesars for 3 nights in the Palace Tower 2 queens. Room was HUGE located near the pool and forum shops. Hotel location was perfect, close to everywhere we wanted to go. Only negative was the in room snacks are on censors so even if you move them out of the way, which we did, they will charge you. We told the employee bringing our luggage to the room that we moved them not knowing about the charge and he said he would take care of it and we did not have to pay the fees. That was a huge relief and I really appreciated him handling it and not having to call myself. I would definitely recommend this hotel we had a great experience.

"1st time in Las Vegas"
This hotel is absolutely AMAZING! The only complaint I have is that they close the pool way to early (8 p.m.) .Beautiful, comfortable, great staff, and conveniently located in the middle of the strip.

"Great for a family visit but not for a party"
My wife and I visit Vegas on a fairly regular basis (around 3 - 4 times a year) and typically stay at the Wynn or Cosmopolitan. This visit was slightly different as my Mum was visiting us from the UK and then we were all visiting Vegas as part of her trip. We found the hotel to be very nice, it looks and feels pretty modern and stylish and has plenty of amenities including a large selection of restaurants, the beach / pool area is a lot of fun and we also enjoyed visiting the shark reef. I would say this is probably the most family friendly of the hotels I have stayed in on the strip, so it was great from visiting with my Mum (my wife and I are in our 30s and my Mum is in her 50s), there was not really anyone acting wild and obviously a lot of the amenities such as the shark reef are more aimed at families. We visited a few of the restaurants at the hotel including the CafΓ© for brunch (a good brunch with unlimited mimosas for $15) - the food was decent but the servers weren't the best (not friendly or attentive). House of Blues restaurant - it was a fun place with live music and we all enjoyed southern style food and found it good value. Aureole was lovely and now probably my favorite restaurant on the strip - at $700 for 3 people its not cheap but its worth it. When my wife & I visit Vegas together we like to let loose and party & wouldn't stay at Mandalay for this, however, if visiting with family & wanting a relaxed time this may be the best place on the strip.

Beautiful hotel room. It is actually a few exclusive floors inside the Mandalay Bay building, yet feels quite different. Staff is super friendly. Maybe the only complain is the shared parking with Mandalay, which you do need to walk 5 - 10 mins indoor, and that the parking is sooo full that walking from a far end (after 25 mins of looking for a parking spot) to the elevator in summer is pretty painful. But I will still go back. It is such a lovely hotel.

You’ll even come across places with childcare services, so you can fly solo and paint the town red for a few hours.

Best and Worst Times to Visit Las Vegas

Spring and fall are the best times to visit Las Vegas because the weather is just right—not too hot and not too cold. These seasons usually see temperatures hovering around the 70s and 80s F, but the evenings do tend to cool down. There are usually fewer tourists between March and May, and from September to November, which means you can score lower rates during these periods.

Even though the temperatures soar in the summertime, this doesn’t deter vacationers from flocking to the desert city. It’s not uncommon for temperatures to reach the triple digits, making the pool decks the most popular spots in town. Winter is another favorite time for visitors to travel to Vegas, particularly around New Year’s Eve. While it’s not scorching, temperatures can hit the 50s and 60s F, offering a warmer winter retreat.

    Things to Do

Attend some of the city’s most popular performances to see what the hype is all about in the Entertainment Capital of the World. Catch at least one of the eight Cirque du Soleil shows and marvel at twisting and tumbling acrobats that soar through the air. O features a jaw-dropping underwater production, while The Beatles LOVE is choreographed to the famous foursome’s tunes. Jersey Boys, the Blue Man Group, and Criss Angel Believe are other favorite performances in the desert city.

While you’re in this neon-doused town, explore some of the city’s landmarks. Get a kick out of the fountains dancing to the music at the Bellagio®, and throw your hands up on the Big Apple Rollercoaster that winds through the NYC skyline. Fool all your friends with a selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower replica, watch the Mirage® volcano erupt in sync with The Grateful Dead music, and then put your feet up at one of the top Las Vegas hotels or resorts.

This type of lodging bundles your meals and activities into the price of the room.
