“Relaxing Place to Stay”

Was a very pleasant place to stay.

“A good basic place to stay.”

We stayed at Extended Stay America San Dimas while we visited family for a week. The hotel could use some updating; but it was very adequate, clean and comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen much but it was nice to have it available in our room. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is shopping and places to eat close by and the area felt very safe. The wireless Internet was nice although a little slow at times.

“Helpful Friendly Staff”

Upon aqrrival staff was friendly and attentive to our request to change rooms to ground level. The followiing morning my mother would not respond to our knocking and phone calls. The staff went out of ther way to help even calling the mamager to help get the door open. Mom is 88 and deaf and had locked and barred the door. We are very appreciatave for there help.

“Looks good from the outside; different story inside”

My one-night stay at Extended Stay left me unimpressed. The hotel looks pretty nice from the outside, but that's about all it has to recommend it. The front desk is strangely situated off to the side when you walk in. At the desk was...nobody. (This was around 8:30 pm.) I waited for a while and someone finally came and checked me in. I got room number 128 -- which happens to be right next to a room housing electrical equipment. Strange noises emanated from it all night. Also, people seemed to be coming and going at all hours of the night, and doors from down the hall or from the upper levels sent booming sounds through the place. The noise of the street was also very audible, as was the Amana air conditioning unit which kept the room at a comfortable temperature but operated at a decidedly uncomfortable volume. All of the combined noises made it tough to sleep. The room itself is serviceable, with a pretty nice bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a clean environment. But a nice comfortable room is no good if noise is keeping you up all night. When I checked in, the outside walkway leading up to the main entrance had what looked like a spilled cream pie on it. I had to maneuver the rollers of my suitcase around the mess. When I checked out the next morning, that mess was still there. Not impressed.

“It's cheap, but I still wouldn't stay there again!”

Not worth it. Please spend the few extra bucks and stay somewhere else.

Carpet was stained, room needs repair of counters in bath, kitchen. Outside looks good but rooms need work and new carpet, furniture in very bad condition

“When tired and drippy....pass this hotel while in San Dimas”

First let me say, this hotel was recommended to me. However, after being greeted and told that I had the last double bed room, shh, be quiet about it I was leery to say the least. After I was given the key, my family and I went up to our room only to it unkempt, and unclean. I returned to the front desk where the young man apologized briefly and skipped off for 10 mins to help someone else. My children were sleeping in the hallway tired waiting. When he finally came back he apologized profusely and gave me two seperate rooms for my family and I. Oh my goodness the 3rd floor reeked of smoke, and it was dirty. Went into my individual room and found the carpets beyond marred, bathroom dirty, gross. Walked over to the other room, same deal, plus a dirty toilet and bug smears all on the wall. Not clean. Back down I go to the front desk to ensure the young man would go with me to make sure the room was decent enough to stay in. It was a horrible situation, complete with the employee stating this always happened to him, and that housekeeping lies about which rooms they clean. If you are going to travel to San Dimas and stay there please inquire to make sure your rooms are clean.
