"My second visit to this lovely property. The weather and surroundings were excellent and the fish were biting!! Would not change a thing. This is now a favorite place for us!!"

"This place was perfect size for my husband and I and another couple to stay and enjoy an extended weekend. I give it a 4 star over all stay due to the 2 bedroom has more of a closet door instead of a true door that had difficulty closing at night. All new appliances were perfect for cooking dinner at night and perfect location to do the Nelson 151 wine tour."

"My family of three (2 adults and one 3yo) had the best time at the cottage. As we approached upon arrival we had breathtaking views of fields and fields of pink-blossomed peach trees. The view from the cottage itself was beautiful, with mountains in the distance and a peaceful farm in the forefront. Highlights were having breakfast views of the llamas each morning and seeing the trains go by daily. The home itself was very comfortable and the fireplace a bonus. We hope to return in warmer...

"The house is adorable. Every little comfort has been thought about and provided. From the couch to the bedding, it felt like a home. The outside is fabulous. Woods and a great firepit made the nights fun and full of laughter. We spent the days hiking the AT or enjoying a good book, that we found from the ample selection, on the shelves inside. There are no complaints, just thanks for such a wonderful stay."

"Perfect little place for my husband and I to stay while visiting our daughter at UVA. It was a quick drive to campus. This cottage provides more room than a hotel room. There was a cute back porch (with a porch swing!) that you could relax and have a glass of wine. Our cottage looked out on a pasture with goats."

"This was a beautiful and quiet setting perfectly located for our interests which were hiking the Appalachian Trail, exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway, and enjoying a day trip to Thomas Jefferson’s home at Monticello. "My family stayed here during part of our spring break. It was a charming cottage—rustic on the outside, but modern cabin on the inside. My young daughters loved it and keep asking to go back to “the cottage.” The location was excellent and seemingly everything we wanted to check out — trails, wineries, campus — was all less than 30 minutes away. 10/10 would stay again."

"The Valley Extended Suites is a clean, modern hotel that provides good value. Whether for a few days or just overnight, it has what is needed for an enjoyable stay. The only issue we had was with the thermostat on the HVAC system. While the system worked adequately, we had to turn the desired temperature way down (62 degrees) before the room was comfortable enough to sleep. Once we figured that out, it worked fine, but when we set it at the temp we wanted (68/69 degrees), the room was still...
