Nice hotel!

We stayed here while in town to watch the NASCAR race. It was fairly close, but much further than the 10 minutes it advertised, more like 30! The pool area was nice and the restaurant and bar were great!

Rooms are fine for one person, but cramped for two

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Cons: No mirror to see the back of your hair
This hotel is nice enough, but the bathrooms are so cramped, you can barely turn around. The rooms are tight too, particularly if you have two queen beds.

My room was so clean, comfortable and quiet... A welcome relief from a long day of travel. I would definitely stay here again!

Great deal & Location

Great facilities and great location. Interesting that pets are allowed but didn't make a difference. Clean, nice, and perfect location.

Not great...Felt like I was placed in the hotel st

Pros: Proximity to Civic Center
Cons: Rooms could have been cleaner, slightly noisy, & staff should have a separate entrance.
Location: Close to 101 freeway, easy access to go North to Sonoma, or South to San Francisco.
I was asked to access my room in the back of the hotel, this would have been fine, but it was next to the laundry and garbage area, so every time I was in the elevator, so where the workers with huge bins on dirty laundry or garbage, one worker almost hit me with the cart when he was exiting the elevator. They should probably have a separate entrance and elevator.

Worst Experience!

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Checking in and out takes forever, room are outdated and dusty, coffee machine and cups are dirty. It is not what I expected with Four Points and it is by Sheraton. I travel a lot on business and I expected Sheraton will one of the best.

Convenient and welcoming for anyone.

Pros: see above
Cons: Paper could be delivered to the door each morning.
Location: Visit family
I was visiting San Rafael for my grandson's high school graduation from Branson Academy. It was not my first stay at this hotel. I will always register there for any other San Rafael functions that I attend. The front desk staff was particulary friendly, professional and helpful. Another feature that I like about this hotel is that there is shopping within walking distance. The food is fine and the service very good in the dining room. The pool area is another plus.
