The refrigerator made loud banging noises often. This visit my sleep wasn't the best. Please replace it for the next guests. Otherwise I love the facility. The toilet kept running often and we had to giggle it to stop the water from running.

Great value for money, our hotel room was massive and had great views over the lake from the 10th floor!! Very comfortable. Easy parking to. Casino is great fun and as its connected to Harvey's hotel and Casino across the road you can use both hotel facilities which is a bonus! Location was also perfect so you could explore South Lake Tahoe (great beach bar)!!

"Great location, smelt like weed in the corridors."
Checkin with Brian seemed to take quite a long time and wasn't the warmest experience. Very robotic. After our arrival we requested two wine glasses, a plate and butter knife as we had purchased some cheese and wine. It baffles me that paying well over $750 AUD for a room + parking for THREE DAYS only that a hotel wasn't able to provide us with any of the above. Drinking wine from a paper starbucks cup is not ideal. Brian said that we could wait the four hours until 7pm where we could go to the ballroom and get some glasses. Very frustrating and complacent attitude wasn't necessary. We felt like idiots for asking for such basic things to be fobbed off. When I worked in a hotel I would go above and beyond to ensure my guests are comfortable. Wasn't a fan of the pole in the middle of the room. We had lots of luggage so there wasn't much floorspace. The breakfast was fabulous as was the chef. He was very friendly and had such a great attention to detail.

"Great staff, walking distance to lots of shopping"
Got to hotel early, room was ready & was offered & accepted an upgrade with a nice view. Room was clean & despite being nearer the elevators was quiet. Beware of the fancy elevators-- we were engaged in conversation and didn't realize that you need to enter floor number OUTSIDE and then look for the appropriate bay to alight. Made for a hilarious first trip to our room (another couple had just realized the same, but the quickly closing door separated their party). Barbary Coast coffee shop is super tight squeeze, but it was nice to grab a quick bite. You should know that hotel is nicely situated to nearby shopping and the walk wasn't too sketchy. Later, we walked to the theater (right turn down Market) which looked really close on a map, but that walk was sooooooo sketchy (even before sunset, so we taxied back after the show because we were afraid to walk that stretch again). That's definitely not on the hotel, but travelers should be aware. Last but not least, the drive to & from the hotel off the Bay Bridge was REALLY easy. Sometimes you find yourself turned around for an hour on crazy busy one way, pedestrian-filled streets trying to get to hotels in SF, but this is not the case for Parc 55. We'll stay here again!

    "Amazing hotel!"
They just reopened in April so the whole hotel is very clean. I strayed in imperial club room (thanks to Expedia sale, price was the same as for regular room in Westin). Room was amazing, large, very clean, nicely designed. Here "quiet room" truly means quiet. Loved the small tablet that was easy to browse for hotel amenities and "things to do" around. Was easy to find all information I needed, starting from menus to activities. Their restaurant Anzu is great. It is a bit pricey but fine dining is never cheap. The same restaurant was serving breakfast which was included into my room rate (extra charge for regular rooms). Well I'm glad I tried it and it's totally worth the money. If you're considering whether to pay for it, give it a try. It is buffet style breakfast that includes Japanese meals too. Sorry I can't remember the names but I'm sure you can find them on Nikko's website menu. Nice pool, gym, business center (I only used gym though). This is again extra charge for guests not staying in imperial rooms (same for internet). The staff is very helpful and will do all it takes to make your stay pleasant, just ask. I guess hotel is being liked by many guests - they're already sold out on many options for July. All in all I loved it and will try to stay there again, especially if I get imperial room for such a reasonable price.
