"I am beyond grateful for this stay! We stayed here as a family of 3 (two adults, 1 teen) for a long weekend getaway. I could not have picked a better option! The home is as described and very clean and comfortable. You enter up 3 flights of modern, comfortable stairs into a small vestibule shared with the hosts. From there, you enter through a locked door into a private hallway. Take the hallway to the right to find a large, comfortable bedroom and a clean and functional bathroom with laundry....

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay. The apartment was conveniently located - close to the Tram line #4, stores (Albert Heijn) and eateries, and on a quiet residential street. It was an easy walk to all attractions, such as Anne Frank House and Albert Cuyp Market. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities for an ideal stay, including a washing machine. "This apartment is in a perfect location and the pictures are exactly what you get. There are 2 very large bedrooms with 2 good sized baths. We were greeted with a great bottle of wine, which was so appreciated after our long travels (Thank you Daan!) We had an issue with no hot water and a broken hair dryer (which we were alerted to by Daan). The hot water was fixed relatively quickly (needed a new part), and the hair dryer was replaced that same day. Later in our stay, the heat stopped...

The area is very quiet at night which was what we wanted. Each evening, we sat around the kitchen table with wine, and charcuterie, sharing photos, and planning the next days’ activities. "The location was close to everything but surprisingly quiet for being in the city. The hosts were amazing and gave me a ton of information about Amsterdam and what was nearby. It is a 3 story walk up with very steep/narrow stairs (which seem common in Amsterdam) so I would not recommend if you have a lot of large/heavy luggage. The beds had an adjustable base and were comfortable, which helped with sleep quality. I would stay there again in the future."

"Cute little apartment right on a canal. Had outdoor seating and a trampoline. Five minute walk from train station in a quiet neighborhood. It is perfect for a couple with a kid. Neighborhood parks are a three minute walk away. Nice escape from the city but with the added perk of quick access to the city. The hosts were fantastic, easy to communicate with, and very helpful with navigating the area."

"Mario was the best host; so easy to communicate with and genuinely kind. We appreciate his responsiveness and the laundry service. The apartment is large, comfortable for 6 people (we had 5). There is not a lift and the stairs can be challenging if you are above floor 2. The apartment is well stocked and furnished. Location is great; right in the heart of De Wallen. We would stay here again for sure. "

"Sehr geräumig, Küche hatte fast alles was man braucht! Leider für Spinnenphobiker nicht geeignet! Auf jeden Fall schön ruhig! Gute Lage zu Amsterdam und auch Hoorn, Edam, Volendam usw! Spartanischer kleiner Markt vor Ort, für das Nötigste! Kaffeevollautomat (Bohnen vor Ort kaufen, ist günstiger) Ansonsten sollte man Geschirrtabs, Handseife, Klopapier, Geschirrtücher usw. Einpacken! Waren schöne 10 Tage! Vielleicht kommen wir mal für nen kurztrip vorbei"

"This not a real studio as it does not have a bathroom neither a WC, these are outside and shared....and very old style. The location is great."

"Nice and quiet hotel. Room was nice and clean. Staff were helpful. We were able to check in early. The shower room was very open so it got all wet after one person took a shower. Also, hotel does not offer paper towel and paper tissues in the room. "
