"The lobby is beautiful and smells really great. However when I checked into the hotel (paid an early check in fee) the bathroom was not fully cleaned, when I let housekeeping know she told her supervisor, they came back together and looked at it but did nothing to fix it right away"

"This historic property has a beautiful back terrace looking over a wooded area that is quite peaceful. The hotel is very accessible to other areas of DC as there is a metro stop just 2 blocks away and it is near an area with shops and restaurants."

"Checkin was smooth and the staff very helpful. A long train ride that made us 4 hrs late getting into D.C. was exhausting. Sleeping on a nice firm bed , a wake up call, and a nice shower and breakfast before heading back to the train for the rest of our journey home, made our Churchill stay enjoyable. Front desk called a cab for us, and even assisted us with access to the restaurant as the Three steps up to it were hard for me with my mobility issues."

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay very enjoyable. The location is perfect — convenient and close to everything. The hotel has a very nice atmosphere, and you can really feel the attention to detail. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options. Everything was fresh and well-prepared — the perfect start to the day. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!"
