great hotel. great staff, inviting atmosphere

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: cleanliness, friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable rooms,
Cons: nothing really. I had a great stay
Location: plenty of shopping nearby, great restaurants, beach right down the road. clean cool pool in the middle of hotel, feels like an oasis.
fantastic hotel very clean, great staff, clean rooms, nice continental breakfast in a tiki lounge outside with a/c, fresh food, comfortable beds, friendly staff and very helpful to ones looking to relocate to the area. I would recommend this hotel a plus to anyone traveling to Naples

Cheap hotel, cheap is what you get

Basically old hotel in need of updates. Something you would find In the 70s. New paint did not quite do the job. If coffee is made for continental breakfast, add a little coffee. Friendly staff.

Really nice retro motel!

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: I liked that it reminded me of motels from my childhood.
Cons: I wouldn't change anything.
Location: The motel was near shopping, dining and golf.
We only stayed at this hotel one night, but would have liked to stay longer. It was an enjoyable blast from the past. The bathroom had what looked like the original pink tile. The room was large and comfortable. We spent the whole evening in because it was pouring down rain and we were very comfortable. There was a frig and microwave, flat screen TV, and small dining table. Everything was very clean and they did a good job of blending the old things with the new. The pool looked very clean and there was very nice landscaping all around. The continental breakfast that was included was served in a gazebo and it was good. I would recommend this hotel if you enjoy things from the past.

Great location

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Pretty setting, quiet.
Location: Close to beaches: Barefoot Beach, Bonita Beach, Delnor Wiggins State Park all within 5-10 minutes, Lovers Key State Park (15 minutes).
We enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, even though close to major thoroughfare it was quiet. Pretty area, big older trees. Continental breakfast was adequate and fresh, and served in a lovely outdoor pavilion that was air-conditioned. Did not get to use the pool, but it looked nice. Bed was very comfortable. Only drawback was that they could not adjust air conditioner so that the fan would stay on all the time, at night this would have been appreciated since it was kind of loud, and when it cycled on and off it could interrupt sleep. I wore earplugs to overcome this.

Overpriced

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Location was ok, near eating and shopping (but have to drive - common in FL). You could walk it but not comfortably in the heat. Pool, ok breakfast
Cons: Needs to be updated badly
Location: Quiet location but near eating and shopping places
An ok place to stay for one night (as we did) and maybe longer if the price was about half what we paid ($170 a night). Old style motel in a semi-quiet area, nice pool area, light breakfast (bagels, coffee, boiled eggs). Very outdated. Had a kitchen so you could stay here for months (I suspect some snow-birders do) but again, very overpriced for what you get. Maybe there's a monthly or weekly rate that is worth it but the nightly rate is crazy.

You don't get what you pay for

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Another let down by a supposed Expiedia deal. There was no savings here as verified by the front desk staff which verified that the Expiedia rate was the same as the hotel posted rate. The staff was friendly grounds were ok and the room was half the size as the pictures make it look a real life crackerjack box with an outdated direct tv box which made it impossible to find a station that actual worked and the bed mattress literally had 1 foot deep dips in it. The only shining light was the salt water pool. I would choose to stay at a super 7 any day if the week and will next time if my only ither option is Fairway Inn if Naples.

PLEASANT BUT NOISY FOUR NIGHTS OUT OF EIGHT

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: We were greeted warmly, the room was clean, staff was always pleasant, the pool was great and clean, breakfast was good, and cookies were a nice treat
Cons: Because of the problem with the noise I'm not sure I would recommend Fairways Inn of Naples.
Location: Restaurants, shopping, groceries stores, golf, beaches, parks and church are near.
Our stay was pleasant with one exception and that was our neighbors were very loud and noisy four days and nights and could be heard plainly through the walls. This kept us from getting rest and sleep during the night.
