"Property was mostly as described. This is a small, hunting cabin-like property with the basic amenities. The bed was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. Wifi wasn’t working for my stay and my phone (Verizon) had zero service. Closest place with service was about 6 miles up the road. Check in process was difficult as the key box wouldn’t work and I had no service to contact the property owner. Luckily the neighbor was there and let me use his phone (AT&T has service here)."

"Decor was welcoming and unique. We spent time looking at all the antiques! Shower (x2) amazing as promised. Perfect location for exploring the area or great spot for true relaxation. Helpful to have a dollar general right next store for last minute items. Very clean and quiet. It was hard to leave"

"Hiwassee Acres was better than I could have expected. The property was beautiful and had such a relaxing atmosphere. Kathi and David were great hosts who could be found working around the property. "That was an awesome house. I planned a bachelor party for my brother and we wanted a lake house with a dock and this was golden. It was a very cute house, and nice layout. We brought a boat and put in at one of the boat ramps that’s less than 5 mins from the house, then were able to park the trailer at the house. It is a little tight turning into and getting in the driveway as I had a 24’ trailer, but once in there is enough space to turn around and park. The cove is very shallow all the way in,...
