"This is an adorable cottage with beautifully thoughtful interior finishes, tucked away on a sweet little property. I felt a bit misled by the listing stating this is one bedroom, as I would consider it a studio space; the pictures did not show the futon as being only a few feet from the bed. We rented this for our family of four assuming that we'd have a bedroom and our kids would sleep in the common space on the futon, it ended up feeling rather cramped for all of us! "We surprised my mom with a 2 night stay, over looking the ocean. This place was perfect, close to the redwoods and town. We drove the 101 from Portland to San Francisco, it was nice to have a house to cook some meals and do laundry and have our own space. We loved it!"

"We needed a calm getaway over Thanksgiving break after a hard semester at school and work. We arrived late Sunday night and let ourselves in. Its a brand new cool building with super cool features, I won't spoil it, and a nice hot tub on your private deck. Perfect! Then in the morning you can see the view of the lake that was hiding in the dark. Bonus, there are animals on the property for the animal lover in the family and some walks amongst the vines nearby -something for everyone. Thankful...

"Be sure to call the guest service phone numbers from a place with cellphone signal BEFORE you get to the guest house because if the door code doesn‘t work you‘ll have to drive a few miles to find a cell signal. It happened to us both days. We were finally given the code to the key lock box outside the door. Put it back immediately upon opening the door because it automatically locks and you may find yourself locked out. We had a good time in the Redwood Suite. Beautiful, quiet, comfortable. Well...

"My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay in this cute place. It was very clean and comfortable! We really enjoyed being able to hear the ocean at night with the window open. The beach is a longer walk from the property but the location is a great jump off point for many of the local beaches and forest access…. We did not get in until late and were very touched that the host had left lights on for us inside! We would definitely stay here on a return trip."
