Independent Notting Hill hotels in London, England

This charming vintage hotel located on a quiet street and easily spotted by two palm trees on each side of the entrance invited us to step back in time. Breakfast in the conservatory, smiling staff, cozy furnishings and the bed with a very soft down comforter made our stay very Victorian. A small English bathroom with heated bath towels was perfect for any individuals wanting comfort and privacy. We are looking forward to our next stay!

We were a little frightened by the tiny little door leading to the hotel off to the side. Do not let this fool you. A far larger experience awaits, and you will probably never use the door anyways (we got there at an odd hour). The rooms are small but very comfortable, great beds, and they have gone out their way to make them very accommodating with towel warmers, free wifi, and a nice bakery breakfast. The staff was very pleasant and always had a smile. For the money, it can't be beat in London.

Needed a Hotel in the Notting Hill area as we had an 8am meeting in Notting Hill. Only a one night stay but this Hotel proved to be exactly what we required. We booked an executive room which turned out to be on the 3rd floor (room 47) and it was excellent. Good sized room, clean, with kitchenette/ settee TV in separate room. Only 50 yards from the Underground on the Central line. Plenty of Banks, restaurants, chemists and even cinema nearby and a Tesco supermarket only 100 yards away. Slightly on the down side - Photo ID is required at check in, although I did not see that it was a requirement when I booked or when confirmation was received. Being from the UK we do not carry passports with us so this seemed to cause the Receptionist a bit of a problem - eventually I convinced him that we were who we were !! Also there was plenty of Police activity (sirens etc) after 10pm and again in the early hours so you need to be sensible and street wise if out late.

Loved how close is to Notting Hill gate ctation. Clean, nice, neat hotel in the heart of central London :)

Was a pleasant apartment. Decent amount of room, quite clean, fantastic location. I think for what you pay, it's quite decent. Would go there again and recommend to a friend.

Excellent budget B&B in the middle of London - very close to transport and shops. Breakfast in the room was fantastic. Bea really takes the time to look after you - much thanks to her!
