"We found this little 'slice of heaven' just by accident but it will be a place to revisit again and again! The area itself is very beautiful, the colors were beautiful, just a perfect little over night trip! The property was so unique, something for everyone with eight different themes and then the walking trails, what a treasure!!"

"We stayed one night. Apart from a small mishap with the VRBO listing not linking to the hosts’ schedule, which resulted in us having a different room, our stay was perfect. Gracious, responsive, and friendly hosts, adorable baby goats, peaceful country setting, great recommendations re: where to eat and places to hike, delicious breakfast, friendly fellow guests, and comfy bed. No cell reception but that was not a concern for us as we were looking to unplug."

"We spent 2 nights here and it was wonderful! We stayed for our daughter’s college graduation from WSU, and the house is directly across the street from campus so it was very convenient! "We enjoyed the most lovely sunset here with the sweetest family llamas- Porter & Stout, who we also got to hand feed! Hubby and I rented the presidential suite for a quiet evening away from the kids, and we left feeling SO refreshed. "It was a very nice home facing a peaceful part of the Mississippi River with lots of privacy. It is more like a home than a typical resort cabin. "We love the Northwoods feel of this unique property! It's like getting away from it all in the middle of everything! There are lots of cozy areas for sitting and visiting, playing games, etc. Free drink coupons for the property bar at check-in were a huge plus, and our party of four gals enjoyed shooting some pool to while away the evening. Beds and pillows were comfy, and the property was quiet. The hot tub in the pool area was quite large and almost too hot, but we did enjoy it. Tasty breakfast with make-your-own pancakes (but not waffles), fluffy eggs, and other breakfast staples was delightful. And staff was very friendly and helpful. We hope to stay there again soon!"
